Sofia Black.

A bit “fairytale”, isn’t it, that name? Fantasy is what Black loves best, immersing herself in young adult fantasy for as long as she can remember. She has immersed herself in the genre for as long as she can remember, and has been writing it since she was coordinated enough to put pen to paper. Sofia started writing her first full novel (or rather, the first full novel she intended to let the world see) during her senior year at university. Sofia’s short stories were previously available on the now-defunct website, Quarterreads. Many of those short stories can now be found here. Her first novel, Songstruck, is available for purchase.

In addition to her writing, Sofia holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and works with vulnerable youth.
